Submission Details

We now invite submissions for oral presentations and posters for the Third National Forum on Australia’s Wellbeing.

We welcome submissions from researchers, practitioners, policymakers, advocates, and community leaders working to advance wellbeing across diverse contexts.

Presentation types:

  • Oral Presentations: 10-minute presentations (plus panel Q&A) grouped with similar topics in concurrent sessions.
  • Posters: Posters will be displayed throughout the conference with a dedicated session for engaging with attendees.

Key dates:

  • Submissions close: 22 August 2025 (extended from 31 July)
  • Deadline for submission presenters to accept and register: 15 September 2025

Submission Guidelines

Guidelines:

  • Presentation proposals must be no more than 300 words.
  • All presenters must register for the conference.

Submissions should align with one or more of the Forum’s core themes:

  • Communities and Grassroots Action: How communities are driving systems change to shape wellbeing.
  • Redefining Business: How the private sector and social enterprise can contribute to increasing wellbeing.
  • Government and Public Policy: How wellbeing can be embedded in policy, budgeting, and regulatory frameworks.

The Third National Forum on Australia's Wellbeing is supported by a committed group of organisers from University of Canberra, Deakin University, Centre for Policy Development, Australian National Development Index, Australian Social Values Bank, Monash Sustainable Development Institute, and University of Tasmania.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the unceded lands and waterways throughout Australia and recognise they have cared for this country for thousands of generations and continue to do so today. We pay our deep respect them and their cultures; and to elders past and present.
